Our Founder’s Story     

      Chase’s journey into the beverage and hospitality world is rooted in both hands-on craft and rigorous business experience:

  • The Craft & Coffee Heritage: While earning his B.S. in International Business 
    at Auburn University, Chase worked directly on the front line at Starbucks, mastering the fundamentals of coffee craft, brewing precision, and customer connection.
  • Hospitality & Spatial Design: During his accounting studies at Kennesaw State University, Chase worked with Millennium Seating—a leading commercial furniture supplier for major hospitality brands like Tyson Foods, MOD Pizza, and the Atlanta United Soccer Club. This experience gave him deep insight into creating welcoming, functional spaces for community gathering.
  • Financial & Operational Precision: Holding a B.S. in Accounting from Kennesaw State and a Master’s in Accounting from Liberty University, Chase spent time as an auditor with KPMG. This financial expertise ensures Southern Sip is built with operational excellence from day one.

      Combined with a deep-rooted family background in the restaurant and food industry, Chase brought together his love for hospitality, coffee craft, and business strategy to launch Southern Sip. What began as an online destination for craft coffee and merchandise is built on a bigger dream: creating a vibrant brick-and-mortar neighborhood coffee shop where community comes first.
